In the kitchen: Peanut Butter Pie Heaven

Original recipe: HERE

This pie is DELISH!! I have found that I always tweak recipes every time I make them. So I thought I would share my version of this recipe that I found on pinterest.

I will warn you now, this pie is in NO WAY healthy. So if you are looking for a clean eating dessert run the other way fast before you hear about any of the amazing things going into it.

This has to be the EASIEST pie ever. Me and my husband are not big fans of pie. But if something reseembles a cheesecake you better believe we will be all over it!

We both love chocolate and p&b so I added extra yumminess to the top. (Ie: FATTY GOODNESS)

This takes less than 10 minutes to make. Seriously! This will be my go to dessert dish to summer get togethers without a doubt!

Ingredients

3/4 package of cream cheese (softened)

1.5 tubs of whipped cream

1 small container of CREAMY peanut butter

1 graham cracker crust

3 TB Chocolate Chips

3 TB Peanut Butter Chips

Mix together the softened cream cheese, tub of whipped cream, and almost entire small container of peanut butter in your Kitchen aid. Make sure to mix thoroughly so you don’t get any chunks of cream cheese. It is important that the cream cheese is not straight from the fridge. Once it is all mixed thoroughly (taste testing is suggested) pour it all into your graham cracker pie pan. Use a spatula to get every last bit out of the mixing bowl and smooth it all out. Now add a couple SMALL dollops of peanut butter on top and smooth across the top with a butter knife then use a toothpick to make a swirly design.  Then finally sprinkle your pb & chocolate chips on top.

My biggest suggestion is to let it sit for 6-12 hours before you dig in. It really helps it firm up a tad and you want this pie cold. I don’t suggest putting it into the freezer is it will just get hard. This pie is meant to be creamy not quite the consistency of a cheesecake.

Now enjoy that yummy dessert. It is seriously heavenly.

Oh and my last tip. It is best enjoyed in small portions. It is VERY rich.

If you decided to make this let me know how it went!!
