DIY TV Stand | Before + After Makeover

Anyone else feel like they hit the jackpot when they find a treasure on the side of the road? A couple weeks back I was backing out of my driveway and felt like I should go the opposite way to pickup my son from daycare. Which I have never done the entire time we have lived here. And low and behold this almost beauty was sitting on the curb for me. I quickly picked up my son and drove back to the tv stand praying and hoping it was still there. Sure enough. (THANK YOU JESUSSSSSS) Thing weighed a ridiculous amount, but I managed *somehow* to get it in my car trunk and slowly drive home.

Here is the before:

I tend to lend myself to black, white, gray, and wood but I have been trying to incorporate color in our house so this is the first color pop in the house besides the velvet curtains. I was SO NERVOUS to try a deep green color but I am OBSESSED.
I used a paint spray gun that made this soooo easy. HIGHLY suggest purchasing one. I found this one for under $50 on amazon.

I also tried Rub n Buff for the first time after someone suggested it for small areas. It was the EASIEST application process ever. It stinks soooooo bad though, so make sure and do it outside. It dries super quick too. I used Antique Gold.
