Yes, that is a hospital wristband on my right wrist. Today I am thankful. Beyond thankful really. At our 20 wk appointment the sonographer was nervous because she couldn’t see a part of the heart that should be there. They walked me through what the next couple weeks would look like (more ultrasounds to check) and a visit to Children’s mercy. Worst case scenario would be baby would need open heart surgery immediately after delivery. My heart broke when I heard our baby may need open heart surgery. I told a few friends and family right away and we got to praying for supernatural healing, that nothing would be wrong and everything would be healed. This morning I had my level II ultrasound and the sonographer and Doctor agreed the baby is PERFECT. His heart looks perfect, his measurements are perfect. Not a thing off. 💙💙 My heart melted and exploded at the same time knowing our little man is doing well.
