Won’t he do it?
Yesterday I saw someone post “Won’t He do it?” referring to God and His desire and ability to do the things which He has spoken and I instantly thought of creation when God brought forth a woman. Adam did not know that He was without. He had no idea that a woman was even a option. He had no grid for a helpmate, a spouse. Yet God looked and saw Adams need BEFORE adam even knew He had a need. And God said, “It’s not good for the Man to be alone; I’ll make him a helper, a companion.” [Genesis 2:18]
God knows what we need before we even know we are about to approach a problem.
God not only has an answer for every twist and turn in the road. He has a divine purpose in it all.
What if God had created adam and eve immediately at the same time. Adam would have never even known what it was like to be without a woman. Instead God created a ‘delay’ of sorts showing adam the stark difference between life without her and life with her.
So…..Won’t God do it?
Whatever it is in your heart that you’ve felt the Lord speak to you about. Won’t He do it? The question is not won’t He do it. It’s will you trust Him as He leads you into what He has spoken over you. Will you trust Him to do it in His perfect timing, in His perfect way. There may be some mountains He has you trek over, some rivers to paddle through but He will get you there. And when you get there you’ll know HE IS MORE THAN ABLE to do what He said He would do and that you truly are His son or daughter. Because He gave His all that you may live life abundantly, full of love, peace, and joy through whatever happens.
